Geoff For the most part I bought these books for essays Mr wonder wrote. They are hugely important in magic and close-up conjuring theory and the principles explained in those essays can applied not only in close up card and coin magic, but discipline wide. Parlour magic and stage. I can't stress the importance of these critical essays. Topics range from, the obvious (misdirection) to the somewhat obscure (Performance/patter vs performer technical ability. In short, consider the effects presented as bonuses. The essays are the paramount feature of these timeless texts.
